Saverio Spontella, Senior Vice President Sales, Marketing & Innovation Land O’Frost

Saverio Spontella is Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Innovation for Land O’Frost where he oversees growth and profitability of its packaged meats brands.  Saverio has held a variety of leadership roles with consumer packaged goods and health & wellness organizations.

Prior to joining Land O’Frost, Saverio served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Mizkan where he successfully led revenue growth, trade marketing, and category management for a $1 billion portfolio of products including Ragu and Bertolli pasta sauces.  He also held various marketing leadership roles at Glanbia for its top sports and performance nutrition brands including positions as Vice President of Global Marketing and Vice President of North America.  Saverio’s brand management career began at Sara Lee (Tyson) working on brands such as Hillshire Farm and Ball Park Franks.

Saverio earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his undergraduate degree from Loyola University, Chicago.  Saverio resides outside of Chicago where he enjoys his time with his wife Elizabeth and three kids.
