Biography
An innovative marketer and industry leader, Peggy Brookhouse founded BROOKHOUSE with a focus on brand strategy and giving back. Inspired by consumer brands like sock and apparel maker Bombas® BROOKHOUSE brings the Buy One, Give One approach to brand strategy. For every client assignment, her firm provides the same or similar services at no charge to a local nonprofit.
Peggy’s career in advertising and marketing features leadership roles at some of the Southeast’s preeminent agencies where she received prestigious honors for her work, including a Silver Lion at the Cannes Advertising Festival, numerous One Show and ADDY awards, a London International Advertising Award, and a Creativity in Public Relations (CIPRA) award.
Peggy is deeply involved in Charlotte’s business and philanthropic circles, and currently serves on the boards of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and Trees Charlotte. Peggy previously chaired the United Way of Greater Charlotte and Levine Museum of the New South boards and has been recognized with the American Advertising Federation Silver Medal Award and the Charlotte Business Journal’s Women in Business Achievement Award. In 2019, Peggy was named Queen’s University’s BusinessWoman of the Year.
